I bought my XBR3 just a bout a month a go from JR for $1,599.00 no Tax and shipping I tell you this is the best XBR I have ever owned I also have the first XBR (KDLV-40XBR1) wich I love it has been a great TV it was the top of the line Sony at the time when there was no 1080P TV available in the market(2005)I pay $3000.00 for it compare to the XBR1 the XBR3 has a better HD pictuer but my XBR1 has better Standard pictuer compare to the XBR3.I also check out the XBR4 and XBR5 I did not notice any difrance in the pictuer compare to XBR3 so why pay more if you can get a deal on the XBR3.
over all this is the best set if you can find a brand new one for the price I Payed or less DO NOT let it go.

Sony Bravia XBR LCD 40″ HDTV
This TV is fantastic from the picture to the way it looks in your living room. I have Direct TV service with the TV and the Picture looks great in HD and also very good in standard. I also purchased a Sony BLU ray player with the TV and I highly recommend people to do the same. Movies look unbelievable when played through the TV in Blu Ray hooked up with a basic HDMI cable ( No need to buy the expensive Monster ones ). I also have an x-box 360 elite hooked up with HDMI cable and this looks amazing too. Could not be happier with the TV. I have not seen or had any problems with the so called “clouds” when the screen is black, no problem at all.

A MUST HAVE FOR ALL XBOX 360 USERS
I was a little nerves buying this product since I have a Mac and I’m running an Airport Extreme. But to my surprise as soon as I plugged it to my 360 and turned it on. It found my network with no problem. It asked for the network password and the rest is history. I’m in xbox live heaven.

Play conveniently
This was a plus since I couldn’t attach a long ethernet cable for the 360 and wireless was the only option for me. But I do plan on getting wired since I do notice a little bit of lag with wireless connection.
But otherwise, a great official product from MS that works perfect.

Just another home run for Logitech
I’ve had 2 previous Harmony remotes a 550 (I think) and my recent 880. When I added a television projection to the bedroom and had to deal with legacy remotes I wanted to move the 880 to the bedroom so …. good excuse to upgrade my home theater remote. Read all the other reviews and make your choice but rest assured the ONE in very easy to program and if you are upgrading from one Harmony to another it’s as simple as plugging into the USB port on your computer and updating the new remote — all the old key assignments are loaded and you are ready to go. Ergos are much better on the ONE than on the 888.

SAMSUNG HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought this samsung DLP tv refurbished from secondact.com for 799 plus shipping. First impressions were that the picture through my xbox was beautiful (switched from crappy old 36 in sdtv). I can actually read the words on my games now

The second day I realized that I had the problem that a lot of people had. The screen was bowed or pincussioned… not sure which one. If there’s a perfect horizontal line on the screen, when it gets to either the left or right edge it goes up, creating a kind of smile shaped effect. I was immediately beside myself as I had just spent quite a bit of money on this Television Projection.

The tv has a 90 day warranty from samsung so I began by calling their customer support. I called and got through to an easy to understand American representative very quickly and explained my problem. Even though it’s refurbished all i had to do was fax in my receipt and tomorrow I will be calling to set up an appointment for a technician to come directly to my house to fix this problem. I will update this after the tech comes to see what happens but the customer support from samsung was amazing and I love that i don’t have to ship out my  Television Projection somewhere and not get it back for a month as other manufacturers might.

If that gets fixed perfectly the only thing wrong with this tv is the audio. If turned up to normal to high-normal listening range it has a definite buzz, which the technician may also fix when he gets here. This isn’t a huge deal to me because for the price i payed i wasn’t looking for great audio without getting outside speakers anyways.

If on a budget this is a great tv to get as i see it!
